Active Members of Our Community

Giving back to the local community has always been an integral part of the Monaco Ford mission. The Monaco Family has deep-seated roots in the Glastonbury area, serving the Connecticut River Valley since 1922. With a focus on youth development, local veterans, and the organizations the support them, Monaco Ford's core values of philanthropy and volunteerism have enriched Glastonbury and its surrounding communities.

Chrissy Monaco is the co-owner of Monaco Ford in Glastonbury, Connecticut and the first female at the helm in the history of the business.

Chrissy currently serves as a board member of the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association, the local YMCA, New England Ford Dealers Advertising Committee and Ford Credit Dealer Advisory board. She also holds a Next Gen. chair position on the National Auto Dealers Association regulatory affairs committee. Also, an avid volunteer and supporter of many local non-profits, Chrissy frequently attends charity events and is a past member of the CCMC board.

Chrissy continues the Monaco Family traditions of being active members of the community, supporting local veterans, promoting automotive safety, women's wellness, education, and safety, as well as blood drives.

Mike Monaco is the co-owner and General Manager of Monaco Ford in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

Mike served in the Marine Corps active duty from 2003-2007, officially becoming a member of the Marine Corps League in 2004. Mike was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant and was named, "CT Marine of the Year" in 2018. Mike currently lives in Glastonbury with his wife and two sons, and is an avid volunteer and supporter of local Veteran programs. Mike serves as Vice Chairman of the Veteran Service Commission of Glastonbury and was elected Commandant in 2016 of the Peter P. Monaco Jr Detachment, as of 2020he is now the JR Past Commandant. He is also member of the VFW Post 12150.

Mike strategically assisted in growing the Detachment 40 program from almost nonexistent, to 160+ members. He also chairs The Hike To Remember which has successfully raised over $400,000 in the past 8 years.

We work to enrich the community with the continued support through our annual fundraisers and support such as, our annual car show, Toys for Tots gift drive, sponsored Pet of the Month with the CT Human Society, and annual donation to the Peer Veteran's program at Manchester Community College, and more. Through these fundraisers and annual support, we strive to give back to our neighbors and build a strong community for the future.

Together as a family, we've been proudly serving the Glastonbury area since 1922.
